Christmas Tree Recycling – The District Council are supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice. They will be collecting real Christmas trees for recycling on Saturday 15th January 2022. If you want to take part, check availability and book your slot by visiting just-helping.org.uk/register-tree
Donations received from the Christmas tree collection will contribute vital funds to the hospice and other local charities. Real trees can be placed by the side of the garden bin on collection day. If the tree is bigger than the bin HDC ask that it is chopped in half. Household Recycling Centre’s will also take Christmas trees.
HDC will be informing residents of these changes via a bin hanger which will be placed on grey bins in December. There will also be a full page of advice in the Hunts Post and on their social media sites – links to these are below –
