HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh

It is with great sadness that we learn today of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh who has supported the Queen and served this country with the upmost dedication and distinction. He was a much-loved member of the Monarchy and will be sorely missed.

On behalf of residents of Great Paxton, I wish to convey our deepest condolences  to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and members of the Royal Family at this very sad time.

Councillor Wayne Bond
Chairman, Great Paxton Parish Council

During the period of mourning, the Parish Council would like to make you aware that a Book of Condolence has been placed in the Community Shop for residents to sign and to express their sympathy and thoughts.  You may, of course, prefer to sign the online book of condolence  in line with national guidance.

Church Lane Green has been designated as a place where you might like to lay flowers. However, you may prefer to make a charitable donation instead in accordance with the wishes of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
