Huntingdonshire District Council: Electric Vehicles Survey

Huntingdonshire District Council: Electric Vehicles Survey

Huntingdonshire District Council is inviting residents and visitors to have their say in a public survey which was launched on 5 June, to gain insight into the user requirements, concerns, and expectations of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Points within the district.

EV charging is a subject at the forefront of council agendas across the UK as we recognise the environmental impact of vehicles.

The survey will guide HDC to what methods of support they can offer, how they can promote the use of EV, and how the infrastructure of our council’s car parks can be enhanced.

Executive Councillor for Climate and Environment, Councillor Lara Davenport-Ray, said: “HDC are committed to creating a better Huntingdonshire for future residents by lowering our carbon emissions.

“With evolving technology and greater accessibility to Electric Vehicles, we want to understand what is important to our community and visitors before we develop plans for our council-owned charging points.”

Residents are encouraged to complete the survey before midnight on Sunday 9 July at https://tinyurl.com/hdcevc.
