The CPRE (Council for the Protection of Rural England) Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is passionate about making the countryside in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough a better place for everyone to enjoy.
They are now recruiting for a new branch Chair, and would like to hear from anybody interested in this opportunity.
Their team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live, and volunteering with them is a fantastic way to help champion environmental issues such as planning and development, renewable energy, sustainable transport, and the climate emergency. Their Chair plays a key role in developing the CPRE as a charity.
Ideally you’ll be able to commit to 2 years or more in role and they are open to flexible / co-chairing arrangements.
You will be provided with training and support to develop in your role and you’ll gain valuable skills and experience in charity governance and leadership.
