Huntingdonshire Society for the Blind are hosting the HiVIS (Hunts Blind & Vision Impaired) event in conjunction with Cambridgeshire Libraries and this will be between 10am -12 noon on Friday 14th June at Huntingdon Library.
The event is being held during HiVIS Fortnight which is an annual campaign bringing public libraries and blind and partially sighted people together in an effort to improve access to books and information.
Members of the public will be able to seek advice and try out devices whilst also discovering the services that are available to them from Cambridgeshire Libraries.
This is a free event, no goods will be on sale, partners are giving us their time, expertise and equipment as a commitment to community engagement and informal learning.
